Modern Animal doctors perform both routine and complex surgical procedures with the highest standard of care. Our surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, mass removals, foreign object removal, biopsies, urinary stone removal, gastropexy, C-sections, hernia repair, and lumps and bumps removal.
Each surgical patient at Modern Animal receives a personalized anesthesia plan and is continually monitored throughout their procedure. Our Care team is highly trained to handle every aspect of anesthesia, from premedication to induction all the way through recovery. We conduct a thorough preanesthetic examination for every pet to forecast any possible risks and ensure the safest outcome.
Please arrive at the clinic promptly at the time of your scheduled drop-off. Patient intake will take about 10-15 minutes. After that, you can step away from the clinic and entrust your pet in Modern Animal's care for their surgery.
The actual start time of the surgery may vary based on a few variables, so our Modern Animal team will communicate key updates and real-time progress via the in-app chat throughout the day. We will then coordinate a pick-up time with you individually, and discuss any post-surgical care and discharge instructions.
No, Modern Animal does not offer feline declaws, ear cropping, debarking, or tail docking for cosmetic reasons.
