Dr. Collins received her DVM from Cornell University. She was inspired by how veterinary medicine combines compassion with science, wanting to make a tangible difference in animal and human lives. At the Santa Monica clinic as Lead Doctor, she loves that every day brings something new and no two cases are ever the same. Her patients would describe her as adventurous, detail-oriented, and fun.
Dr. Calderon grew up in Fullerton and received her DVM from the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. She's driven by her passion for animals and interest in science. The team at our Santa Monica clinic helps new pet parents with early exams, nutrition, and what to expect as their pet grows. Essential and All Access members also have 24/7 Virtual Care for questions about things like loose stools, mild vomiting, skin irritation, appetite changes, and general “is this normal?” reassurance.
We are not an emergency hospital, but the team at our Santa Monica clinic offers primary and urgent care during regular daytime hours. At our Santa Monica clinic, we treat cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds with preventive, primary, and urgent care. We do not see exotic pets such as rabbits, reptiles, or birds.

Our Santa Monica clinic does not offer its own pet insurance plans, but we believe insurance can help make veterinary care more predictable over time. Since pet insurance operates through reimbursement, you’ll pay at your visit and then submit a claim to your insurer. We work with companies like Nationwide, Pumpkin, and Trupanion, and we’ll provide what you need for claim submissions.
