Dr. Dammici is from FloraBama, right on the Florida-Alabama line, and received her DVM from Auburn University. With eight years of experience, she grew up on a small family farm. As Lead Doctor at the Park Cities clinic, client education is extremely important to her. She wants clients to feel heard and empowered to advocate for their pets.

Dr. Auerbach is from Little Rock and received her DVM from Louisiana State University. She's always loved animals, but what really drew her to veterinary medicine was realizing she'd get to help people alongside their pets. At the Lakewood clinic, she loves watching her puppy and kitten patients grow into adults.

Primary Care
We provide the full spectrum of day-to-day veterinary care your pet needs to stay healthy and well. This includes wellness exams, vaccines, nutrition support, parasite prevention, and treatment for common issues like allergies, ear infections, and chronic conditions. We’re here for every stage of your pet’s life.
Urgent Care
For health issues that should be addressed sooner than a routine visit allows, but are not emergencies, we offer same-day and next-day appointments. This includes things like minor injuries, sudden changes in appetite or behavior, or signs of illness.
24/7 Virtual Care
Chat with a licensed veterinary professional anytime, day or night. Our team can help with general questions, triage concerns, and guidance on whether your pet needs to be seen in person.
Pharmacy
We offer a full-service pharmacy for prescription medications, preventatives, and prescription diets recommended by your care team. You can pick up in the clinic or have items delivered to your door with optional autoship for ongoing needs.’
Vaccines
We provide core and lifestyle-based vaccines to protect your pet against preventable diseases. Your care team will tailor a vaccine plan based on your pet’s age, breed, environment, and health history.
Dental Care

I love coming to Modern Animal with my fur babies! Dr. Dammicci is always so attentive and sensitive to our concerns and has many options for us to try. Alex got us in a room and got our concerns and really took time to listen to us to ensure all the information was talked about. Modern Animal always can get us in for an appointment in a timely manner and we rarely have a wait while there! I cannot recommend them enough!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Modern Animal. All of the Dr.’s and nurses have been amazing. We followed our vet here bc we absolute love her and now we have fallen in love with everyone. The way they take the time with you, listen and show the love and affection for our babies is truly unmatched. Just had a teeth cleaning yesterday and they kept me up to date through every step beginning to end and take charges off based on what was needed. They also have 24/7 telecom which has come in handy a few times. I have two senior dogs and I know they are getting the best care that we can get them.

We also talk through any recent travel, boarding, or environmental changes that may affect your pet’s needs. These visits keep care aligned with real life.
The team at our Park Cities clinic guides new pet parents through first-year planning, feeding routines, and early behavior support. Essential and All Access members also get 24/7 Virtual Care for questions about things like diarrhea or vomiting, coughing, teething, skin irritation, and quick decision-making between visits.
We are not an emergency hospital, but the team at our Park Cities clinic offers primary and urgent care during regular daytime hours. If a possible emergency occurs, Essential and All Access members can access 24/7 Virtual Care through the app for real-time guidance and emergency referral when needed.
At our Park Cities clinic, we provide preventive, primary, and urgent care for cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. We do not offer veterinary care for exotic animals such as rabbits, reptiles, or birds.

Our Park Cities clinic does not offer its own pet insurance plans, but we believe insurance can help make veterinary expenses more predictable. Pet insurance is reimbursement based, so you’ll pay at the time of service and then submit a claim to your insurer. We work with companies like Nationwide, Spot, and Trupanion, and more, and we’ll share everything you need for claim submissions.
