Dr. Chang received his DVM from the University of Melbourne and has practiced veterinary medicine for nearly eight years. A therapy dog sparked his love for animals during a challenging first day of preschool.
Now a Lead Doctor at Modern Animal's West Hollywood clinic, he's passionate about mentoring the team and helping pets thrive through everything from routine care to complex cases.

Dr. Harrison received her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences. At the La Brea clinic, she loves medicine and caring for the four-legged family members we have. She loves seeing patients become better after treatment. Her patients would describe her as caring, gentle, and kind. On days off, she's taking her dog to the farmers market and watching Shark Tank.
Dr. Munhos is from Brazil and received her DVM from Unifeso in Teresopolis. With 19 years of experience, she's never pictured herself having any other profession. At the La Brea clinic, she loves earning an animal's trust and being able to relieve their pain or improve their quality of life. Watching that moment when a pet starts to feel better is the best part.
Dr. Popish is originally from Wyoming and received her DVM from Colorado State University. With six years of experience, she grew up watching her dad and grandfather, both veterinarians, fix problems and make pets feel better using the art of medicine. At the La Brea clinic, she loves client education and helping people understand their pets' conditions so they can make decisions together.

Dr. Yi is from Los Angeles and received his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. With over 12 years of experience, he was inspired to become a veterinarian when his own dog became sick. At the La Brea clinic, he loves helping improve a pet's quality of life and having the resources to take care of pets.
Dr. Tran received his DVM from the University of Sydney. He has diverse experience practicing in Australia and the USA, including shelters, general and rural practices, and academia, most recently as NC State University faculty. At the West Hollywood and La Brea clinics, he's passionate about creating positive experiences for his patients. He lives in LA with his three-year-old black lab, Finn.

Pharmacy

We've had such a wonderful experience with this vet clinic. The entire staff is incredibly kind and patient, which makes a huge difference, especially when your pet is nervous. Common Questions
Regular exams are important because they give us time to check mobility, oral health, and heart and lung function and to track how these areas change over time. We also look for new lumps, assess coat quality, and review any changes in behavior or appetite. Small findings during routine visits often prevent larger problems.
The team at our La Brea clinic provides guidance on first-year vaccines, feeding, and routine care for new puppies and kittens. Essential and All Access members can connect with Virtual Care anytime for support with things like training basics, minor stomach upset, sneezing or coughing, ear scratching, and next-step decisions.
We are not an emergency hospital, but the team at our La Brea clinic provides full-service primary and urgent care during regular daytime hours. Our La Brea clinic provides wellness, primary, and urgent care for cats and dogs of any breed or size. We do not treat exotic animals, including rabbits, reptiles, or birds.

Our La Brea clinic does not offer its own pet insurance plans, but we think having insurance is important because it can help manage both routine and unexpected costs. Pet insurance is reimbursement based, so you’ll pay at the time of service and then request repayment. We work with providers such as Spot, Healthy Paws, and Nationwide, and we can provide everything needed to file claims.
