Dr. Robson received her DVM from Texas A&M and has practiced since 2011. She's been working with animals since she was 14, driven by a belief that every pet deserves compassionate care. As Lead Doctor at the Addison clinic, she loves building relationships with families and watching those bonds grow over time.

Dr. Kohout was born and raised in Plano and received her DVM from Texas A&M. She grew up immersed in medicine with an ER physician dad and pharmacist mom, but veterinary medicine won her over when she realized vets get to practice dermatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and dentistry all in one day. At the Addison clinic, she loves fostering the human-animal bond and educating clients.Her cat Garrett loves coming to work with her.

Primary Care
We provide the full spectrum of day-to-day veterinary care your pet needs to stay healthy and well. This includes wellness exams, vaccines, nutrition support, parasite prevention, and treatment for common issues like allergies, ear infections, and chronic conditions. We’re here for every stage of your pet’s life.
Urgent Care
For health issues that should be addressed sooner than a routine visit allows, but are not emergencies, we offer same-day and next-day appointments. This includes things like minor injuries, sudden changes in appetite or behavior, or signs of illness.
24/7 Virtual Care
Chat with a licensed veterinary professional anytime, day or night. Our team can help with general questions, triage concerns, and guidance on whether your pet needs to be seen in person.
Pharmacy
We offer a full-service pharmacy for prescription medications, preventatives, and prescription diets recommended by your care team. You can pick up in the clinic or have items delivered to your door with optional autoship for ongoing needs.’
Vaccines

This place is absolutely wonderful. We made an appointment and were in same day. I brought in my cat and I swear they loved him like their own. They let me comfort him while they did tests and explained everything they were doing and why. I absolutely 100% recommend this place if you're looking for a permanent vet. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable for what they did.

My experience at Modern Animal was such a wonderful one. My dog gets a little nervous around new people and the vet as well as the vet techs were so accomodating to that fact and put in so much care, gentleness and consideration in helping my dog to open up to them and to help him be more comfortable. I also felt that they were greqt at listening to my concerns and taking my feelings into consideration. I will definetly be returning.

Dr. Kohout and the techs were super kind and patient, very gentle and understanding with my anxious dog and even sent him home with a new toy! The team at our Addison clinic supports new puppy and kitten parents with early exams, nutrition, and vaccine timing. Essential and All Access members can chat with 24/7 Virtual Care anytime for help with things like loose stools, appetite changes, teething, crate training, and what needs in-person care.
We are not an emergency hospital, but the team at our Addison clinic provides full-service primary and urgent care during regular daytime hours. If you are unsure whether something requires emergency care, Essential and All Access members can connect with 24/7 Virtual Care through the app for immediate advice.
Our Addison clinic treats cats and dogs of every size and breed and provides wellness, primary, and urgent care. We do not see exotic pets like rabbits, reptiles, or birds.

Our Addison clinic does not offer its own pet insurance plans, but we think having insurance is important because it can make planning for care easier over time. Since pet insurance is claims based, you’ll pay at your visit and then request repayment from your provider. We work with providers such as Healthy Paws, Pumpkin, and Nationwide, and more, and we’ll provide all required documentation.
