Your Pet's Care
There are no changes to how your clinic operates today or the care your pet receives.
Our veterinarians and care teams will continue providing the same high-quality medicine and experience you expect from Modern Animal.
There are no changes to your veterinarian or care team as a result of this partnership. You’ll continue seeing the same team you know and trust.
All Modern Animal clinics remain open and operating as usual.
All scheduled appointments, surgeries, and procedures will take place as planned.
You can continue filling prescriptions the same way you do today. If you currently fill prescriptions through your Modern Animal clinic, nothing changes.
If you use Chewy Pharmacy, you may continue to do so.
Membership & Pricing
There are no planned changes to membership fees or service pricing as a result of this announcement.
If anything changes in the future, we will communicate that directly.
Modern Animal memberships and Chewy Wellness Plans continue to operate separately. Each brand will honor its own plans as they exist today.
If that changes, we will let you know.
At this time, Modern Animal memberships are valid at Modern Animal clinics only. You can continue using your membership benefits at Modern Animal as you do today.
Your membership terms and cancellation policy remain the same. If you have questions about your membership, our support team is happy to help.
Apps, Accounts & Support
The Modern Animal app will continue to work as it does today. Please continue using the Modern Animal app for appointments and communication with your care team.
There are no changes to either app at this time.
For appointments and communication with your care team, please continue using the Modern Animal app as you do today. The Chewy app remains available for orders and pharmacy needs.

For veterinary services, appointments, or questions about your pet’s care, please contact Modern Animal directly. For questions about Chewy orders, pharmacy shipments, or retail purchases, Chewy Customer Care is here to help.
There are no changes to how you reach either team.
Your pet’s medical records remain secure and continue to be managed by Modern Animal. There are no changes to how records are stored or accessed as a result of this announcement. Protecting customer and patient information remains a top priority.
Any future updates would be handled carefully and communicated clearly.
Chewy orders should continue to be managed directly through Chewy. Modern Animal clinics do not currently offer order pickup or returns.
If that changes, we will let you know.
Modern Animal and Chewy clinics currently operate independently. If you visit a Chewy clinic, your pet’s health records will not automatically transfer.
You can request a copy of your records from Modern Animal if needed.
For appointments and scheduling changes, please continue contacting Modern Animal directly or use the Modern Animal app for the fastest assistance. Chewy Customer Care does not manage Modern Animal appointments.
